To help customers pay off part of their balance before their due date, we designed the automatic payment experience which had 3 simple steps - selecting the amount, date and mode of payment.

The Sparrow payment slider makes bill repayment feel unique, purposeful, and delightful. Unlike generic radio buttons, it stands out and gives users a tactile, memorable way to choose how much to pay. It’s purpose-driven because it shows repayment as a smooth spectrum, reinforcing control and transparency instead of rigid options. And it’s delightful snapping to key amounts, giving instant feedback, and feeling natural on mobile with haptics and animation turning a routine task into a satisfying, repeatable experience.


Most users chose amounts less than or equal to Minimum Due, but the old slider made it hard to pick those exactly. It didn’t snap properly, key values were easy to miss, and there was no fine control, you had to drag carefully and still often got it wrong. It also wasn’t very mobile-friendly, and many users gave up or kept tapping around to fix it.

The new design solves this by:
• Snapping to key amounts
• Showing clear labels
• Adding +/– buttons for better control
• Making custom entry more visible

We designed the account setup flow to guide users through all the essential steps from setting up AutoPay to activating their card and adding it to their wallet.

Added filters to separate Sparrow and Starling transactions
